RULES

The FIFA World Cup 2026 takes place from Thursday, June 11 to Sunday, July 19, 2026. The tournament will be hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches over 39 days.

 

Participation:

  • Only for employees of the SOMMER Group, Seculux, ToPa and Torbau Schwaben.
  • The SOMMER Group is: SOMMER, DOCO, Groke, Aperto, Triebenbacher, Metaku, and MyDoor.
  • In this edition, interns and colleagues with temporary contracts are also allowed to participate.
  • If a participant’s (temporary) contract or internship ends during the tournament, their participation in the pool will also terminate.
  • For verification, please enter your (real) first and last name and select the company you work for.
  • Your registration is only complete after confirming the verification email. Please also check your spam/junk folder.
  • Maximum 1 participation per person.

Predictions:

  • Predict Group Matches (before Thursday, June 11 at 9 p.m.).
  • Predict Round of 32 (after Group Matches, before Sunday June 28 at 9 p.m.).
  • Predict Round of 16 (after Round of 32, before Saturday, July 4 at 7 p.m.).
  • Predict Quarter-Finals (after Round of 16, before Thursday, July 9 at 10 p.m.).
  • Predict Semi-Finals (after Quarter-Finals, before Tuesday, July 14 at 9 p.m.).
  • Predict Bronze Final (after Semi-Finals, before Saturday, July 18 at 11 p.m.).
  • Predict the Final (after Bronze Final, before Sunday, July 19 at 9 p.m.).
  • You can change your prediction until the start of a phase mentioned above.

Points distribution:

  • Match result completely correct: 10 points.
  • Match winner correct: 5 points.
  • Correct number of home or away team goals in a match: 2 points.
  • Example: If you predict the match perfectly correct, you will earn 10 points. If you have predicted 4-1 and the result is 4-0, you will receive 7 points (5 points for the correct winner and 2 points for the correct number of home team goals).

Good to know:

  • You always predict the outcome of the first 90 minutes of a match. Goals scored during extra time or penalties should not be considered into your prediction.
  • The results and rankings are updated every match day, if possible after each match.
  • All times listed on this website are in Central European Summer Time (CEST, GMT+2). Please take this time zone into account when submitting your predictions.

Result:

  • The participants with the most points after the final match result has been counted will finish at the top of the leaderboard.
  • The top 3 participants may choose a prize based on their final ranking:
    • 1st place may choose from all prizes available for places 1, 2, and 3
    • 2nd place may choose from all prizes available for places 2 and 3
    • 3rd place may choose from the prizes available for place 3
  • Prizes chosen by higher-ranked participants do not affect the available options for the next positions.
  • Participants finishing in places 4 through 10 will also receive a prize.
  • It is not possible to correspond about the final result.
  • In the event of ambiguities or incompleteness in the regulations, DOCO International will decide on the result. IN ALL OTHER CASES THE ORGANIZATION WILL MAKE A DECISION.
